Evaluation of why?

Evaluation of the film Why?

There are many positive parts of the film. One of them being a good narrative that surrounds the film. The film is based on a relationship and explores the two emotions of love and jealousy. The narrative is also quite easy to follow, which was hard to achieve considering the film is a silent film. There is a sense of the narrative having an easy flow. There are no abrupt changes, the transitions from any changes in the storyline. We have used a range of  shots such a point of view shot  a back shot. There are also uses of close ups and mid shots, allowing the audience to see what the characters are feeling based on expression and body language.

On the other hand, there are a few problems with the film. The steadiness of the camera is not what was expected, making the film look unprofessional. Also, there was a technical problem that caused one of the shots to be smaller than the fame, making it look out of place and unprofessional again. The steadiness of the camera whilst filming could easily be improved next time as we will use a tripod to steady the camera.
